Eichenberg was the Buckeyes' leading tackler, a consistent figure snuffing out ball carriers, and his 112 tackles ranked third among all players in the Big Ten, trailing only Michigan State linebacker Cal Halady and Iowa linebacker Jack Campbell. Along with Eichenberg, Campbell was also a consensus first-team selection.
Harrison and Tuimoloau were the most disruptive defenders for Ohio State this season. According to Pro Football Focus, Harrison had a team-high 31 quarterback pressures, while Tuimoloau finished with 30.on Halloween weekend when he totaled two interceptions, two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery against the Nittany Lions.Ten other Ohio State defensive players were included on the third team or received honorable mention distinctions.
