Everett firefighters rescued two people who were trapped in an apartment during a fire early Thursday.
The two people who were rescued were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
A third person was also taken to the hospital with an arm injury. Steve Goforth with the Everett Fire Department said he believed that person was hurt while trying to break a window to get someone out of the apartment.The cause is under investigation.
