Three Sisters Falls trail closed after man who went underwater goes missing [Breaking]
Sheriff’s officials are searching for a 27-year-old hiker who went underwater and wasn’t seen again at Three Sisters Falls in the Cleveland National Forest on Friday.Two people were swimming around the middle level of the falls when one of them, a 27-year-old man, went underwater and didn’t resurface, sheriff’s officials said.
The Helix Water District shut off the dam that feeds the falls to decrease water flow just before 8 p.m., and the search resumed Saturday morning, according to sheriff’s officials.The Forest Service closed the trail to the falls until further notice.
