Three teens arrested, accused of murder in Lemon Grove stabbing [Breaking]
The teens, accused in the death of Vinson Austin, 49, were booked into Juvenile Hall, sheriff’s Lt. Chris Steffen said. The names of the boys were not released because they are minors.
Steffen said the Austin didn’t know the teens. The El Cajon resident was attacked about 10 p.m. in a parking lot on North Avenue near Olive Street, just south of state Route 94.Deputies responded to a report of a fight and found Austin suffering from a stab wound to his lower torso, Steffen said. Austin was taken to a hospital, where he died.The motive and other circumstances were under investigation, Steffen said.
Anyone with information about the case asked to call the department’s Homicide Unit at 285-6330 or after hours at 565-5200. To remain anonymous, tipsters were asked to call Crime Stoppers at 580-8477.
