SAN JOSE – Timo Meier scored once in the second period and twice in the third for his third career hat-trick as he helped lead the Sharks to a 4-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday.
Meier, who was named to his first NHL All-Star Game in January, now has 30 goals on the year, matching the career-high he set in 2018-19. With the win, the Sharks moved one point past the Ducks for sixth place in the Pacific Division. The Sharks’ next game is Wednesday in Arizona against the Coyotes.
