Now that the actors strike is over, and he can finally promote the movie ahead of the Wonka release date this December, Chalamet can't stop saying "Wonka" in a new Saturday Night Live promo. Watch it below: The video sees the host flanked by musical guest boygenius and SNL cast member Bowen Yang, whom Chalamet keeps interrupting by blurting out "Willy Wonka, chocolate, chocolate man, Willy Wonka, chocolate," unable to contain his excitement. "Sorry, the actors strike just ended, I can finally promote my movie," Chalamet explains.
Every Upcoming Timothée Chalamet Movie The historic 118-day SAG-AFTRA strike ended just in time for Chalamet to promote Wonka during his second hosting stint on Saturday Night Live, providing him with the opportunity to talk about the upcoming movie during his opening monologue or do some chocolate-themed sketches. Wonka, which releases on December 15, follows Chalamet as the titular character who rose from humble beginnings to become the world's greatest candymaker.
Other than Wonka, the actor has another potential blockbuster on the way in Dune: Part Two, which releases on March 15, 2024. The film will cover the second half of Frank Herbert's seminal sci-fi novel from 1965 and continue following Chalamet's Paul Atreides as he seeks revenge against those who destroyed his family.
