A suspect was arrested Wednesday within a short time after a downtown Oakland non-injury shooting.
OAKLAND — A suspect in a Wednesday afternoon non-injury shooting in downtown Oakland was arrested within minutes several blocks away, authorities said.
The suspect, identified by police as a 45-year-old man, apparently tried to intervene and got into an argument with the restaurant employee, police said. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, battery with serious bodily injury, making threats and carrying a concealed firearm on the person.
