The effort extends to more than 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants across Texas.

The McDonald’s fundraiser includes sales inside the restaurant, via carry-out, in the drive-through, or for orders placed in the McDonald’s app or with McDelivery.

In addition to the more than 250 McDonald’s restaurants participating in Dallas-Fort Worth, more than 750 other locations will join the fundraiser across Texas. It’s the largest-scale restaurant-related fundraiser for Uvalde victims so far in Texas. “While no amount of money can erase this tragedy, as local small business owners in Texas we feel it’s important we do our part to support the Uvalde community however we can,” said Manuel Pacheco in a McDonald’s statement. Pacheco owns and operates McDonald’s stores in South Central Texas, including some within an hour’s drive of Uvalde.
