Tom Hiddleston's The Night Manager has officially been granted a two-season renewal at BBC and Amazon MGM Studios.
-led spy thriller has finally received an official two-season order. Production on The Night Manager Season 2 is expected to begin sometime this year.
“We are elated to bring additional seasons of The Night Manager to our Prime Video customers,” Amazon boss Vernon Sanders said in a statement. “The combination of terrific source material, the wonderful team at The Ink Factory, a great writer in David Farr, an award-winning director in Georgi Banks-Davies, as well as the talented cast truly make the series the full package.
The first season, which aired on BBC One and AMC, also starred Olivia Colman, Elizabeth Debicki, Tobias Menzies, David Harewood and Tom Hollander. For their performance in the first installment, Hiddleston, Colman, and Laurie each received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actor, respectively.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
