Screen Rant is thrilled to present an exclusive new clip from the Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room. The show is inspired by Daniel Keyes' book The Minds of Billy Milligan, and centers around Tom Holland's character Danny who's being investigated for his involvement in a shooting. Alongside Holland, The Crowded Room stars The Dropout's Amanda Seyfried, Dopesick's Will Chase, and Conversations With Friends' Sasha Lane.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Crowded Room is a period-set psychological thriller, taking place in New York City in 1979. Seyfried stars as Rya, an investigator whose interrogations with Danny slowly unravel his mysterious backstory. As their interviews before Danny's trial progress, it becomes clear that there's more to both the crime and his mental state than meets the eye.
In the sixth episode of The Crowded Room, it was revealed that Danny has Dissociative Identity Disorder, which gives him distinctly different personalities that he is completely unaware of. Considering Danny seems to have no memory of what happened at Rockefeller Center, it's possible he was acting as one of his alters at the time, which may have been captured on video.
