Top Dallas Sheriff dept. employee on leave after DWI charge
A Dallas County Sheriff Department lieutenant has been placed on leave after police say he was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Lt. Michael Raley was pulled over by Dallas police on July 8 at 2:50 a.m. after his car hit a concrete barrier at the intersection of Skillman Street and the LBJ Freeway, according to a police affidavit.Raley, 38, is a detention service manager assigned to technology, sheriff department spokesperson Jasmyn Carter said. He is on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation.
