Top floors of Salt Lake VA Medical Center flooded from broken pipe

The George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City was flooded after a hot water pipe broke Sunday, affecting hundreds and damaging equipment.

<p>SALT LAKE CITY — An estimated 4,000 gallons of water flooded the top floors of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Sunday.

 Specialty care areas like ophthalmology and urology were the most impacted, Williams told KSL NewsRadio.</p><p>&quot&#x3B;We have a lot of expensive equipment up there,&quot&#x3B; she said.
