Nine Southern schools are among the top 20 public colleges in the country in the WSJ/THE College Rankings

The top colleges in the South in the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings are well distributed around the region. The six highest-ranked public schools in the South are all in different states, and the seven top private schools are spread over six states and the District of Columbia.
