Tornado caused ‘extensive damage’ in Lancaster County: National Weather at State College

Severe weather tore through parts of central Pennsylvania on Friday.

The National Weather Service at State College confirmed that a tornado briefly touched down in Lancaster County on Friday. Severe weather was predicted in the forecast. And, around 2:11 p.m., a funnel had been reported in the Kirkwood area, forecasters said.More information is expected to be released by the National Weather Service.
