Milling and pavement operations start Monday and could impact drivers' travel plans.

Traffic will be restricted on the eastbound Route 322 ramp to Penhar Drive, and the Penhar Drive ramp to eastbound Route 322 in Swatara Township.Workers will be shutting down traffic lanes starting Monday afternoon on the eastbound Route 322 ramp to Penhar Drive, and the Penhar Drive ramp to eastbound Route 322 in Dauphin County.

Weather permitting, milling and pavement operations will be performed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 8, according to a news release by PennDOT Wednesday. The eastbound Route 322 ramp to Penhar Drive will be closed. PennDOT are advising motorists to drive east to Mushroom Hill Road, turn left, then take Grayson Road west to Penhar Drive.

A traffic restriction will be placed on the ramp from Penhar Drive to eastbound Route 322. Traffic will be shifted onto the shoulder.Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
