Trail Blazers Want To Make Damian Lillard Trade Before Training Camp - RealGM Wiretap
In an appearance on Behind the Play, ESPN's Brian Windhorst said there could be some momentum on a Damian Lillard trade. Windhorst reported that the Portland Trail Blazers want to make a Lillard deal before training camp starts.
"The Blazers are trying. For weeks, I don’t think there was any movement, but I do think in these last seven to 10 days, there’s been movement on the Blazers’ front," Windhorst said."There are attempts to make things happen. Only the Blazers know what they’re holding in their hands in terms of real offers."
Portland is scheduled to host Media Day on Monday, October 2. Trail Blazers training camp will start the next day on Tuesday, October 3.
