In his notice of appeal, which a court stamp indicates was filed a week after his sentencing, Patron again presents argument about jurisdiction, writing “the court has proceeded in excess of jurisdiction after having previously forfeited personal jurisdiction over the accused.” As a further ground of appeal, he states the Crown failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it has jurisdiction “over these matters.”Article content
