Trump-endorsed Herschel Walker raised $100,000 a day since launching his Georgia Senate bid

Former football star Herschel Walker has raised millions of dollars in the weeks following the launch of his 2022 Senate campaign in Georgia. Walker has echoed Trump's baseless claims that the 2020 election was riddled with fraud. Walker's wife, Julie Blanchard, is under investigation by Georgia's secretary of state after a report that she voted in Georgia last year despite living in Texas. Trump and Walker appeared together at a"Save America" rally in Georgia last month. Trump called Walker an"American legend born and raised in this state."
Walker discussed his relationship with Trump, stating that he told a reporter back when he was playing for the New Jersey Generals that"this guy can be president of the United States one day."
