Meyers devoted his Closer Look segment to Carlson’s firing, admitting that after eight years of coveringhe “didn’t think anything could shock me anymore”—until the Carlson news dropped. “Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News? Oh, my God, does this mean Fox News has gone…woke?” Meyers said, turning to a second camera as ominous music played in the background.
“What are we gonna do without Tucker?" Meyers opined. “Who else is gonna tell us when M&M’s aren’t [bleep]-able anymore?”
