Turkey shuts border with Iran after eight coronavirus deaths there

Turkey temporarily halts all international flight arrivals from Iran unilaterally as of 1700 GMT, says health minister

Outbreak in Iran has centered on the holy city of Qom, where officials say travellers from China brought the new coronavirus. Meanwhile, Turkey says it's"temporarily" closing the border with Iran over virus fears.

Jahanpour added that out 15 newly confirmed cases, 7 were in Qom, while four were in the capital, Tehran. Iran has confirmed 28 cases in total in at least four different cities, including the capital, Tehran, so far.
