Former Texas Longhorn Carlette Guidry-Falkquay will be inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame next year.AUSTIN – Two former Texas Longhorns will be inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame next April as part of the Class of 2023.
Guidry-Falkquay won 12 national titles and earned All-America recognition 23 times from 1987 to 1991. She won captured seven individual sprint titles and an indoor long jump title. As a senior, Gudray-Falkquay won both the Honda Award as the nation's top track and field athlete and the Babe Zaharias Award as the nation's top female athlete.
