Amazon has released a new Tyler Perry's Divorce in the Black trailer, previewing the upcoming drama starring Meagan Good and Cory Hardict.
The film is written and directed by Perry, and alongside Good and Hardict, Divorce in the Black also stars Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, Art Newkirk, Joseph Lee Anderson, Taylor Polidore Williams, and Joseph Lee Anderson.
Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black is set to release on July 11, 2024, and will be available on Prime Video.The movie tells the story of Ava, “a young bank professional who is devastated when her husband Dallas abandons a marriage she is determined to fight for. However, fate intervenes, revealing Dallas’ wicked deeds that have trashed their marriage, and once upon a time sabotaged Ava’s destiny to be loved by her true soulmate,” according to the film’s synopsis.
For Perry, this will be his latest movie since 2024’s Mea Culpa, and his second film since 2022’s A Jazzman’s Blues and A Madea Homecoming.
