U.S. journalist Danny Fenster, who was sentenced to 11 years jail in Myanmar last week, has been released

last week, has been freed and will soon be making his way home, according to the U.S Embassy in Myanmar. Mr. Fenster, 37 years old, was arrested at Yangon International Airport in May as he was heading back to the U.S. to visit his family. He had been detained at Yangon’s Insein prison while facing five criminal offenses. He was found guilty of three on Friday.
