U.S. officials are warnings private companies that North Korean IT workers are attempting to do remote contract work with businesses and funnel the proceeds back to Kim Jong Un’s regime.

"An overseas [North Korean] IT worker earns at least ten times more than a conventional North Korean laborer working in a factory or on a construction project overseas."
