Volatile U.S. stock futures swing higher

U.S. stock futures swung higher Wednesday morning, as contracts have veered in both directions during the electronic trading session. After selling that has wiped out over 6% in the S&P 500 in two days, U.S. stock futures rose, with the S&P 500 contract ES00, +0.00% up by 0.3% and the Nasdaq 100 NQ00, -0.05% contract up 0.4%. The eMini S&P 500 contract has traded as low as 3,091 and as high as 3,158.50.
