U.S. stocks opened lower on Friday, leaving them on track for weekly declines after a rise in Treasury yields. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.06% was down 0.1% soon after the opening bell, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.22% fell 0.1% and the Nasdaq Composite COMP, -0.50% dropped 0.2%, according to FactSet data, at last check. Treasury yields were down on Friday morning but still up for the week, with the 10-year rate trading at around 4.
