San Antonio police arrested a man they suspect fatally shot his Uber driver on the Northeast Side.
Bexar County Sheriff's OfficeDominique Dashon Croom, 30, was charged with murder Thursday in the death of 37-year-old Robert Carbonell Diaz, according to an affidavit supporting his arrest. Croom is being held on $200,000 bail.
The witness reported then seeing a white Lincoln Navigator traveling slowly through the intersection before driving over the sidewalk and stopping in an open wooded field. He said that at the same time, he saw a man wearing black and red clothing running away from the SUV.
