The event, which was held virtually in 2021, recently returned to the Hilton Americas, with Houston Chronicle Executive Editor Maria Reeve as the keynote speaker. “We are working to tell the stories of all the communities that make up Houston,” Reeve said. “We’re working hard to be engaging, to be fair, to look like the community we cover.”This year’s, Table Talk featured 48 women who led table conversations over lunch. Conversationalists included former Houston Mayor Annise Parker, fashion designer Chloe Dao, Chef Christine Ha, The Suffers’ singer Kam Franklin, Houston Food Bank CIO Nicole Lander and St.

The event raised $175,000 with proceeds going to Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at the University of Houston.
