New Italian restaurant in former Tom Ford boutique space joins other high-end restaurant...

Bari is set to unveil its own culinary version of la dolce vita when it opens May 15 in a sumptuous space that was the former Tom Ford boutique at the luxury retail and dining destination at 4444 Westheimer.by Houston foodies and party people, featuring a menu from chef Renato De Pirro, certified Italian Master Chef who diners will remember from Ristorante Cavour at Hotel Granduca.

The current menu listed on Bari’s website includes antipasti such as charred octopus with potato cream and toasted hazelnuts; beef carpaccio with lemon truffle dressing; foie gras terrine with strawberry compote, mussels with tomatoes and basil; and fried calamari and shrimp with Calabrian chili aioli, along with pizzas, soups, salads, and raw bar offerings.
