The number of job openings on the last business day of December rose to 10.925 million, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics announced in its latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Summary on Tuesday. This reading came in above market expectations for a drop to 10.3 million from November's 10.775 million reading, which had been revised up from 10.562 million.
