Velvet Taco Grapevine will take on the theme of trains, a nod to Historic Downtown Grapevine which operates a vintage railroad.
Velvet Taco is making its next stop in Grapevine in early February 2023 — and it's not stopping there.
The Dallas-based fast-casual taco spot is expected to embark on another rapid expansion throughout Dallas-Fort Worth.and Rockwall in early 2023. A location will also open in North Frisco in the spring with locations to follow in Allen and North Fort Worth in the summer of 2023. The patio will emulate the canopy of a train station with interior and exterior light fixtures taking on the theme as well, according to a PR spokesperson. The restaurant is also expected to feature a train mural with the Grapevine water tower in the background and an exterior cooler that is cladded to mimic a cargo car.
