The study focused on video-game therapy suggests that it can help lessen ADHD symptoms in children with minimal side effects. A similar study that examined children who still were taking medication showed similar results. Side effects of the video-game therapy included headaches and frustrations. Dr. Neha Chaudhary, a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and a co-founder of Brainstorm, Stanford's Lab for Mental Health Innovation, largely agreed with Kollins' assessment.
