Justin Fisher, 29, Ali Gibson, 51, and Joelle Martucci, 24, all from Totowa, have been charged with murder in the death of Stephanie DeJesus, 38, of Paterson, authorities said.
had been recorded on security camera entering the Totowa home of a man and woman who would later be charged with her murder, according to court documents.
“Surveillance collected depicts the victim entering the residence,” the affidavit states. A short time later, a white SUV allegedly used by Martucci arrives at the home. “Once officers observed the blood, they breached the vehicle to open the trunk, where they found Stephanie DeJesus unresponsive and covered in blood,” the affidavit states. While police initially thought DeJesus had been shot, a medical examiner ruled the woman died of “blunt force trauma.”
Martucci told investigators that she and Fisher were moving out of the rented Gordon Avenue home and were going to live with their families “so they could save money to buy a home together.”
