The acclaimed chef of Virtue will open a more casual spot specializing in New Orleans.

As is always the case with the chef behind lauded Hyde Park restaurant Virtue, he starts off with gratitude for the accolade. “It’s humbling,” Williams said Monday. “And it’s also a little surreal, in the sense that the restaurant industry has been grounded for two years because of the pandemic. But it was great to see fellow operators and see their smiles, and to bring awareness to cystic fibrosis. It was a great night.
