In an effort to reach the 1.7 million Pennsylvanians eligible to vote who are not registered, Gov. Tom Wolf signed an executive order to make voter registration materials more widely available.
Finding voter registration information and an application form is about to get easier in Pennsylvania as a result of an executive order signed on Wednesday by Gov. Tom Wolf.
“This work will support the dedicated county officials and thousands of local poll workers who do their part every election to ensure that anyone who wants to exercise their precious right to vote can do so,” Wolf said in a statement. The executive order builds on the 1993 federal National Registration Act which mandates voter registration materials be available at certain state agencies such as county assistance offices and area agencies on aging among others.
