Biggers, 37, is a Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts graduate who has been working as a local artist since 2001. He started doing murals about five years ago. Biggers grew up in South Dallas near Fair Park and was inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. murals and Malcolm X art pieces in his neighborhood. He wanted to contribute to the Latino community with art representative of the culture.

"I wanted to do it to give back, especially with gentrification happening [in Oak Cliff]. I wanted to give something back that wasn't taking from the culture," he said.Location: 914 W. Commerce St., Dallas
