Another warm and windy spring day is upon us this Thursday. The day will start with clouds and a low chance of rain or drizzle, but the vast majority will remain dry today. Partial sunshine is likely later this afternoon. The wind will be storng from the south at 15 to 30 mph.
Thunderstorms are in the forecast as we head into Friday. The storms will likely be severe late Thursday night out west, but some weakening is expected as they move toward DFW between 4-7 a.m. Even still, these storms will be capable of gusty winds and brief heavy rain. Some small hail can’t be ruled out. These storms should move out of DFW by 9 a.m. Friday, followed by a quick return of sunshine for Friday afternoon.
