Southern California will see mild temperatures and clear skies all weekend, but some rain may arrive next week.
Most parts of the region will be in the mid 60s to low 70s during the day on Saturday and Sunday with clear skies. A storm system is moving down from the north and may bring rain and snow starting Wednesday. Los Angeles and Orange counties on Saturday will see a high temperature of 70 with clear skies, dropping to 46 overnight, and similar conditions on Sunday.Beaches will be sunny with 1-3 foot surf and a high of 62.
Mountains can expect a high of only 48 degrees during the day Saturday, dropping to a chilly 17 overnight. Most desert communities will see a high of 62, though Palm Springs will likely hit 71, and temperatures will drop to about 30 overnight. When the storm arrives Wednesday, deserts can expect strong winds to blow around sand and dust.
