Draymond Green’s streak of 132 consecutive playoff starts will end Sunday.

SAN FRANCISCO — Draymond Green has started 132 consecutive playoff games, but that streak will end Sunday. The Warriors are sticking with their Game 3 starters: Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney, the team announced about 30 minutes before tip-off.

With Green watching Thursday’s game from his home while he served his one-game suspension, Curry & Co. powered Golden State to a 114-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Coach Steve Kerr opted to run it back with the same group as the Warriors try to even the first-round series before it shifts back to Sacramento this week for Game 5.

This is only the third time Green has come off the bench under Kerr and first time in the playoffs. Green started all 72 regular-season games he played this season. He came off the bench for the first two games he played after returning from a lengthy absence from a back injury. It seemed likely that Kerr would consider staggering non-shooters Green and Kevon Looney to optimize their offensive prowess after Golden State conquered the Kings in Game 3. Starting four shooters, as they did Thursday, allowed Golden State to better spread the floor. That paired with Looney’s aggressive rebounding and taking better care of the ball — the Warriors had only 11 turnovers in Game 3 — turned out to be the recipe for success.
