SAN FRANCISCO — Coach Steve Kerr on Sunday said he’s “hopeful” that Otto Porter Jr. will be cleared to play at the start of the Western Conference finals.
Mike Brown, who served as the Warriors head coach in Kerr’s absence, said Friday he wasn’t sure whether the discomfort was the result of one play in particular or the wear and tear of the postseason.
