is returning to ask: what happens after the romance?, arrived on the streamer in March 2021, at a time when most in-person romances were still on pause due to the pandemic. The relationship between movie theater usher Jessie and world famous actor Tom served up heart-warming moments while also exploring the messiness of love, especially when it comes to two people who are still trying to figure out their individual lives.
The official logline for season 3 reads: "Still living in London and working at the local cinema, Jessie explores a new single life after parting ways with film star Tom . Two years after the breakup, Jessie navigates the pressures of adulthood and is confronted with the consequences of her own choices as her friends move on to the next stages in their lives, while Jessie is left questioning what she is really looking for.
"I love watching things for endorphins," Mateo added. "It sounds so simple and uncool, but you're like, 'I'm just a basic bitch who wants to be happy for 22 minutes.'"
