The riverboat was launched into the Susquehanna River for the first time ahead of the summer season.
The iconic red-and-white Pride of the Susquehanna riverboat made its return today ahead of the summer season as it was launched around 2:30 p.m. into the river.
Ray Peske, Senior Captain for the Pride of Susquehanna, says this is the 34th annual year of running the riverboat, adding there has been much anticipation with some new things being offered this year. There has been some maintenance to the riverboat as the crew plans to start sailing Thursday of next week.
