There is also the option between the SWB bodystyle with a 145-inch wheelbase and a 5.5-foot bed, or the LWB bodystyle with a 157-inch wheelbase and a larger 6.5-foot bed. All Australian F-150s come fitted with the turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 400 hp and 678 Nm of torque since the V8 won’t be available Down Under.
Ford Australia says that more than 8,000 buyers have already registered their interest for the F-150. Local pricing and detailed technical specifications will be announced closer to the market launch which is expected in mid-2023.
