After Violet Markey loses her sister, she withdraws into herself. Theodore Finch notices this and decides to pursue Violet to help her come out of her shell. The thing is, he has his own baggage, too.
The trailer checks all the boxes for any good teen romance—triumphant, drum-heavy indie music, a serious discussion at a cliffside lake, a bunch of sticky-notes on one of the protagonist’s walls , and a lot of youthful tears. Is anyone else a little refreshed that teens still have movies like this? From, there’s really a teen movie for everyone, and something about that just feels right.
