Four people were injured Sunday when a decorative helicopter fell into a pool at the American Dream mall.
The state Department of Consumer Affair’s construction office has declared the building that houses the DreamWorks Water Park an “unsafe structure,” a DCA spokeswoman said in an email Tuesday.
The closure does not affect other American Dream attractions, which include the Nickelodeon Universe theme park, or the retail stores and restaurants in the rest of the mall. Four people were injured when a large decorative helicopter fell from the ceiling and landed in a pool at the DreamWorks Water Park in the American Dream mall complex in New Jersey Sunday afternoon, park officials said.
State officials said they had no information about the types of injuries people suffered when the helicopter fell near the exits of the two water slides.
