In a large bowl, combine the meats, garlic and onion mixture, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan, 1 tablespoon salt and egg.Portion the mixture into 3.5-ounce meatballs; you should have 9 meatballs. In the skillet filled with an inch of oil, fry at 325 F for 90 seconds until browned, making sure to not let them get too dark. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to remove any excess grease.Place the fried meatballs in a casserole dish. Top with tomato sauce and grated Parmesan cheese.
