Demand in Spur’s season tickets is surging following the team’s NBA draft lottery win.
On Saturday, Spurs fans who had paid their deposits for season tickets got a chance to pick their seats in person at the AT&T Center, hoping to snag the best seats to watch Wembanyama in action.Inside, seats were color-coded to indicate which season ticket packages were available for fans to buy.
Each package had a different set of games; for example, there was a package that included just weekend games.San Antonio Express-News metro columnist Gilbert Garcia was one of those waiting in line to buy season tickets. Garcia, who arrived five minutes before his 1 p.m. appointment time, estimated there were about a couple hundred people in line in front of him.
