The Williamson County Cities and Health District says a mosquito trap sample collected in the City of Taylor has tested positive for West Nile Virus. The positive sample was taken on Tuesday, July 2 from a trap site near North Drive and T.H Johnson, and the results returned on Friday, July 5.This is the first positive sample in Taylor this year. The last one was in Murphy Park in August 2023.
