“I can’t say anything specific about new jobs just yet, but I can say my time in Cleveland has been so special and unforgettable,” Bash said.
Originally from Oklahoma, Bash arrived at News 5 in 2014. She quickly made an impression with viewers as the nightside reporter, and also on social media, where she interacted with fans and candidly shared details of her daily life. But her star really started to rise in 2016 when she was assigned to deliver live reports outside then-Quicken Loans Arena during the Cavaliers’ NBA Finals runs of 2015 and 2016. What started as a joke became her favorite part of the job.she told cleveland.
Bash left Cleveland for a job closer to family and in a bigger market in Dallas later that year. But she returned in 2017.
