Thrawn's Star Destroyer has a meaningful painting.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Lars Mikkelsen made his live-action debut as Grand Admiral Thrawn in Ahsoka episode 6, bringing his strangely-painted Imperial Star Destroyer the Chimaera with him. Thrawn's flagship the Chimaera arrived at Peridea in Ahsoka episode 6, docking at an ancient Nightsister temple.
Grand Admiral Thrawn's ISD Is Painted With His Symbol The Star Destroyer bears the symbol of Thrawn himself, the namesake of his ship: a chimaera. Thrawn has adopted the chimaera as his symbol ever since an encounter he had when serving the Chiss Ascendancy as a Senior Captain charting the Unknown Regions.
This unique way of doing things has caused those who serve Thrawn to offer even stronger loyalty. Much of this is due to Thrawn's more honorable code, as well as his appreciation for life. Unlike many of his other Imperial counterparts, Thrawn isn't one to break a deal, even one he's made with his adversaries. He also values life much more than others, which is no doubt something those who serve him appreciate greatly.
